WHY QUANTUM ENTROPY ENGINE
CRAFTED FOR GAME NIGHT
25+ HR. RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
STEAM-PUNK AESTHETIC
MULTIPLE DIE-TYPES AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
VINTAGE NIXIE TUBE DISPLAY
Slightly larger than a Rubik's cube, the quantum dice is easy to take to game night.
Whether you're running a D&D campaign, playing Pathfinder, or need any standard polyhedral die, it delivers quantum-generated results with dramatic flair.
Compact, battery-powered, and built to endure hours at the table, it's engineered to be as functional as it is fascinating.
The QEE includes 2x 18650 batteries and is USB-C rechargeable.
The QEE's optimized power management keeps you rolling through marathon gaming sessions, all-night campaigns, and convention weekends on a single charge. The efficient ESP32 controller and smart power circuits ensure the nixie tubes illuminate your rolls without draining the battery, so the only thing you need to worry about is whether you'll finally land that critical hit
The Quantum Dice wraps its quantum engine in a distinctive design, complete with UV-illuminated fluorescent elements that pulse with an eerie glow reminiscent of Cherenkov radiation. The HV circuits and glowing tubes are safely enclosed, giving you all the visual drama of a miniature reactor core without any of the hazards. It's conversation-starter technology that actually works when you need it.
Why carry a full dice bag when the universe can roll any die you need?
Select from D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D16, D20, or D100 with simple button presses, and watch your quantum-generated result illuminate on the nixie display.
Authentic IN-14 nixie tubes!
The same Soviet-era technology that lit up Cold War equipment and vintage calculators -- bring each result to life with warm, glowing digits suspended in ionized gas.
They're genuine vacuum tubes with individual cathodes shaped into numbers, creating a mesmerizing display with over 100,000 hours of lifespan.
TECH SPECS
Behind the glow and the aesthetic lies serious engineering: quantum entropy harvested from electron tunneling, vintage nixie tubes driven by precision high-voltage circuits, and an ESP32 brain coordinating it all. Here's what makes the Quantum Dice tick -- and what you need to know before letting the universe roll for you.
How it works
The Quantum Entropy Engine dice uses a silicon I.C. operating in avalanche breakdown mode.
Electrons tunnel through a silicon barrier in a fundamentally unpredictable quantum mechanical process, creating electrical noise that's amplified and processed by the micro-controller.
What dice types can I roll?
The Adventurer version supports the standard tabletop gaming dice: D3, D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and D100 (percentile).
The Expedition version allows additional functionality of advantage, disadvantage, and multiple rolls summed up automatically (2d, 3d, 4d, 6d, 8d).
Simply select your die type before rolling, and the quantum entropy engine generates a truly random result within that range.
Perfect for D&D, Pathfinder, or any RPG system.
Rechargeable Battery
Rechargeable via USB-C! The battery life varies based on usage, but expect 25+ hours of continuous operation on a single charge -- more than enough for typical gaming sessions.
The micro-controller and power management circuits are optimized for efficiency, and the nixie tubes only illuminate at full brightness during rolls and for 30s after a roll. After 30s, the display dims to save on battery life.
Exact runtime depends on roll frequency, but you won't need to worry about it dying mid-campaign.
how big is it?
The Quantum Dice is a compact handheld device designed for portability. It's small enough to fit in your hand, making it practical for transport to game nights, conventions, or wherever your adventures take you.
The box measures approximately 3.9" x 3.25" x 3".
nixie tubes
IN-14 nixie tubes have an estimated lifespan of 100,000+ hours of operation. Realistically, these tubes will outlast decades of gaming. They're the same surplus Soviet-era tubes that are still glowing strong after 50+ years in vintage equipment.
